A lot has been going on within Leitarhundar these last couple of months. Since last assessment everybody has been training hard and doing well as you can see on our icelandic website and in the picture gallery.

In january we started training avalanche search and our next assessment will be in march. It will be held in Siglufjordur which is in the north of Iceland:
Introducion:
Siglufjördur is the northernmost town in Iceland, located at the foot of towering mountains on the shore of a small fjord bearing the same name. Fishing and the processing of marine products provide the principal source of employment for the town's 1600 residents, as the settlement has developed around one of the country's best natural harbours.

More news will be available after the winter assessment.
